Desirae Mellor
President
Desirae is a 5th year graduate student in the Burkart lab researching biosynthetic pathways in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Outside of research, Desirae enjoys doing puzzles with her husband, buying matching outfits with her daughter and watching anime with her son.
Caitlin Hudecek
Vice President
Caitlin is a 2nd year graduate student in the Burkart lab designing processes to make algae-based biodegradable polymers. In her free time she enjoys hiking, reading, and getting destroyed in video games.
Karla Rojas Garcia
Outreach Coordinator
Karla is a 2nd year graduate in the Grassian Lab studying the heterogeneous formation of gas-phase nitrous acid in the atmosphere. When not in lab, Karla is spending the money she doesn't have at bookstores, listening to Beach House, or taking care of her 40 plants.
Jane Sedlak
Outreach Coordinator
Jane is a 2nd year graduate student in the Grassian lab studying the chemistry of wildfire smoke. In her free time, she and her dog enjoy hiking, backpacking and chasing after tennis balls.
